· The jar of a lighted candle will be HOT. Never touch before cooling.
. The first burn of any candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquefy. This is usually 3 hours for a 3 inch diameter Candle. This prevents/reduces tunneling.
· Light all the wicks of a candle together i.e. for a 3 wick candle, light all the 3 wicks at every use.
· Trim wick to 1/4" (7mm) each time before lighting. Trimming the wick will also help promote an even burn. Too long a wick may cause the candle to smoke.
· Always keep the candle free from wick-trimmings, matchsticks, other flammable material
· Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten.
· Allow candle to solidify before relighting.

· Remove all packaging before burning the candle. Read the instructions on the bottom of the candle before burning
· Never leave a burning candle unattended.
· Keep away from drafts, pets and children.
· Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface.
· Never burn a candle completely; discontinue use when it burns to within 1/4" of its base or the holder.
· Keep your candle away from anything that could catch fire
· Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a ceramic plate, for example)
· Do not use the lid to extinguish the candle
· Never move your candle while burning
